๐๏ธ Retirement Calculator
๐ Seguro e Cliente-side
Enter your current age, target retirement age, current savings, monthly contributions, expected return, planned annual withdrawal, and life expectancy. The calculator runs an accumulation phase, then a withdrawal phase to show whether your nest egg lasts.
Estimate only โ not financial advice. Consult a qualified retirement planner before making decisions.
How to use
- Enter your current age and target retirement age.
- Enter your current savings (the amount in retirement accounts today) and your monthly contribution until retirement.
- Set an expected annual return (a common assumption is 6% real for a balanced portfolio).
- Enter how much you plan to withdraw per year in retirement (about 4% of the nest egg is the classic guideline).
- Enter your life expectancy. Click Calculate โ the chart shows the balance trajectory.
Model: accumulation phase compounds monthly with your contributions until retirement age, then withdrawal phase deducts the annual withdrawal at the start of each year and grows the remainder by the annual return until the balance hits zero or life expectancy is reached.
Real retirement is messier: returns are sequence-sensitive (a bad first year can sink the plan), Social Security or pensions add income, and healthcare costs spike late. Treat this as a sanity check, not a plan.
