💪 Body Fat Percentage Calculator

🔒 सुरक्षित और क्लाइंट-साइड

Enter your height and circumference measurements (neck, waist, and hip for women) to estimate body fat percentage with the US Navy method. The result includes a fitness-category label and the typical recommended range for your sex.

Estimate only — not medical advice. Skinfold calipers, DEXA scans, or hydrostatic weighing are more accurate. Use this as a quick check, not a diagnosis.

How to use

  1. Pick your biological sex.
  2. Measure neck circumference at the narrowest point, just below the larynx.
  3. Measure waist circumference at the navel for men, at the narrowest point for women. Relax — don't suck in.
  4. For women, also measure hip circumference at the widest point.
  5. Enter your height in centimeters. Click Calculate.

Formula (US Navy): Male BFP = 86.010·log10(waist − neck) − 70.041·log10(height) + 36.76. Female BFP = 163.205·log10(waist + hip − neck) − 97.684·log10(height) − 78.387.

The Navy method has ±3% accuracy versus hydrostatic weighing for typical body shapes — better than BMI for body composition but worse than DEXA. Take measurements first thing in the morning for consistency.
